AFC Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings does not believe the Cherries squad will hide from the Premier League relegation scrap.
Following Leicester City’s victory over Liverpool on Monday night, the defending Premier League champions jumped out of the relegation zone.
AFC Bournemouth are now just four points clear of the bottom three after a run of form which has seen just one victory in eleven games in all competitions.
The Cherries have lost five of their last six Premier League games, with the only point coming via a draw with Watford.
During that spell AFC Bournemouth have scored 7 and conceded 17.
Mings told the Daily Echo…
‘We cannot hide from the situation we find ourselves in.
‘We`re not picking up points and we`re conceding too many goals. We cannot get away from that fact.
‘We are in a situation only we can get ourselves out of.
‘We cannot do anything differently from what we are doing.
‘We have to keep working hard, keep focused, stay together as a group and keep buying into the ideas and game-plan we are trying to execute.’

There is something Zubaresque about him at the moment. That is being slightly out of position and using his athleticism to recover.
He is still learning the CB position. As a full back you tend to drop off a bit against quick skilfull wingers. At CB you generally want to get tighter and be more physical. That’s what he still needs to learn, but he has all the attributes and is intelligent so the potential is huge. – Join the conversation here.
