AFCB Vital would like to wish all of the AFC Bournemouth supporters around the world a very Merry Christmas!

2020 will be a difficult year to forget but one that I’m sure we all would like too.

A global pandemic has plagued the country and done its best to decimate the country and indeed the world.

We would like to wish our condolences to all of those affected, with loved ones lost. We send our thoughts to those who have been affected by uncertainty in their daily lives and anyone who has found this period of history a struggle.

As AFC Bournemouth supporters we have found ourselves locked out of Dean Court for the past nine months, the majority of whom haven’t stepped foot into the stadium since February. We haven’t been able to support the team through a Premier League relegation battle, we haven’t been able to say goodbye to legends who have departed such as manager Eddie Howe or players such as Simon Francis, Charlie Daniels, Callum Wilson or Nathan Ake.

We haven’t been able to show our support to Jason Tindall who has taken over in the dugout and is leading a promotion charge, welcomed new members of the team such as new first-team coach Graeme Jones or on loan midfield Rodrigo Riquelme, or welcomed back players who hadn’t been around but are now key members of the squad such as Asmir Begovic.

We don’t know what the next few months will bring, other than more uncertainty. The news that AFC Bournemouth’s Boxing Day home fixture against Millwall being postponed due to positive coronavirus tests within the Millwall squad is testament to that.

All we can do is our best to remain positive and hope that some form of normality will return over the next twelve months.

As always we’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support you have given the website over the past year.

Merry Christmas!
