The first alterations to the calendar for the 2019/20 Premier League campaign have been made.

Sky Sports have selected three AFC Bournemouth games during the opening two months of the season. BT Sport have opted against showing the Cherries during this period.

Two of Sky Sports games will be broadcast live from Dean Court, these are the fixtures against Manchester City and Everton which will now be part of Sky Sports Super Sunday programme.

Manchester City will now visit the south coast for a 2 pm kick-off on Sunday 25th August.

Everton will make the trip also for a 2 pm kick-off on Sunday 15th September.

The third game is AFC Bournemouth’s short trip to Southampton for the “not south coast derby” derby.

The Cherries will now visit St Mary’s on Friday 20th September with an 8 pm kick-off.

Watching games on TV?

That way I can get the full “VAR” experience!

No, I’d rather stand around in the ground unsure if I can celebrate a goal until someone has reviewed the review of the review of a potential infringement 5 minutes beforehand.

That and finally getting to gloat about a victory at St Mary’s and take in the ambience of the locale. – Join the conversation, click here.
