AFC Bournemouth striker Yann Kermorgant would like the Cherries to be handed an away tie in the FA Cup against Arsenal or Manchester United.

The Cherries placed their name in the hat for the fourth round of the competition with a comfortable 5-1 away victory against fellow Championship side Rotherham United.

Goals from Shaun MacDonald, Junior Stanislas, Ryan Fraser and two from Yann Kermorgant ensured AFC Bournemouth would be involved in the draw that takes place this (Monday) evening live on the BBC.

AFC Bournemouth also claimed £67,500 in prize money.

Kermorgant told the Daily Echo

“I never been too far in the cups, The League Cup run we had this season was my best (Quarter-Final). I have been unlucky but we hope to go quite far again in this competition.

“Liverpool was a good draw in the League Cup but I would have preferred to play at Anfield. Maybe Arsenal away, or Manchester United.”
