AFC Bournemouth’s ‘keeper Shwan Jalal has dubbed the last minute winner at Dagenham as the best feeling this season.
The Cherries picked up their first clean sheet on their travels this season, which helped towards Bournemouth’s second away win of the season.
The 3 points have brought the Cherries within touching distance of the safety positions in League Two following Grimsby’s defeat on the same night.

‘It was just immense, the best feeling this season for all the lads and the result was a testament to how we played. We knew when we came in at half time that we hadn’t been playing well and Eddie read us the riot act and we responded to that fantastically in the second half…’
‘…We were under the cosh in the first half and I had to make a couple of saves which I was really happy with and I felt my kicking game was back on song. I had a dodgy five-ten minute spell at Chesterfield, so I worked hard on that and it was nice to get that right. A couple of months ago, if we had been under the sort of pressure like we had in the first half, we would have come in at half time two or three down. The boys attitude though was spot on.
‘It was just a fantastic feeling at the end, none more so for the supporters who were simply incredible and the first half for me was like playing in a home game. They just gave everyone something extra. We knew we were unlucky against Chesterfield and it was important that we carried on believing and when you have backing like that, you can’t have anything but belief.’
