AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes his side are a little bit more inexperienced in comparison to the side that made their debut in the Premier League last season.
The Cherries are yet to claim back-to-back victories this season, something that Howe hopes the side can soon string together.
The last time AFC Bournemouth won consecutive matches was March, when the Cherries defeated Southampton, Newcastle and Swansea to successfully maintain their top flight status last season.
Speaking after the 3-2 defeat to Burnley, Howe told the Daily Echo…
‘…We haven`t been able to recapture that (winning) formula from game to game so that`s something we need to look at.
“We know we`re not the finished article. We`re a younger team than we were last year, a little bit more inexperienced in certain ways, but the potential in the team is bigger than it was.
“There are a lot of areas in the team that need, not massive overhauls, just tweaks. I don`t think there`s anything drastically wrong.’
Converting losses to wins
If we’d have beaten Boro, Sunderland and Burnley like we thought we might, we’d be 5th.
Even if we’d drawn one and won the others we’d be 6th.
My Arsenal-supporting mate is right, we’re a decent side even if we’re wildly inconsistent. – Join the conversation here.
