AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has revealed that he would like to bolster his squad over the January transfer window.
The Cherries head into 2015 top of the Championship table after sitting in first place in England’s second tier over the Christmas period.
AFC Bournemouth and Southampton have already agreed the loan extension for goalkeeper Artur Boruc, whilst left back Charlie Daniels has also signed a new contract at Dean Court.
But Howe would like to do some business during the transfer window in a bid to add some extra quality for the second half of the campaign.
Howe told afcb.co.uk…
“Hopefully it will be a quiet one in terms of outgoings, In the other direction, we would love to add one or two bits of real quality to helps the guys in the second half of the season.
“We will wait and see on that because it`s a difficult window to buy in.
“To find better than what we have is extremely difficult given the financial constraints we will be under.
“It`s a delicate situation and we have to try to get the balance right. Hopefully it will be a good window for us.”
