AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has reiterated that striker Matt Tubbs is available for transfer out of Dean Court.

The 30 year old is out of contract with the Cherries at the end of the season.

He joined League Two side AFC Wimbledon on a full season loan in July and he has gone on to score 15 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions.

Whilst AFC Wimbledon are obviously keen to keep him for the remainder of the season on loan, he has also been receiving interest from fellow League Two side Portsmouth and Conference side Bristol Rovers.

AFC Bournemouth are able to recall him during the January transfer window should Tubbs wish to move elsewhere, either on loan or permanently.

Howe told the Daily Echo

“Matt has done well at AFC Wimbledon this season and has scored goals for them.

“He is available and really it will be up to Matt to decide what the next step in his career is. Whether that is a permanent move at this stage, we will have to wait and see.”
