AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has praised Southampton defender Dan Seaborne.
Seaborne joined the Cherries on loan for the remainder of the season from south coast neighbours Southampton in January.
His versatility has proved important for the Cherries following the injuries to Charlie Daniels and Tommy Elphick and Seaborne has been used in both the left back and centre back roles.
He’s now played five times for the Cherries, with Eddie Howe’s side winning every game and climbing to the summit of League One.
Seaborne has a wealth of experience in teams that have won promotion, including back to back promotions with Southampton and two promotions with former club Exeter and Howe believes that experience will prove valuable as the push for promotion continues.
Howe told afcb.co.uk…
“Dan has proved to be a great signing for us. He is a really good professional and also versatile.
“He has the experience of gaining promotion a number of times in his career, and that can help us as he knows what it takes.
“He knows that pressure, and although he is only 24, he has that experience behind him that can help the younger players.”
