AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has reiterated his stance that he will not discuss any potential incoming transfers.
The Cherries have been linked with a loan move for former top goalscorer Lewis Grabban, who moved to Norwich in the summer for £3million and Birmingham attacker Demarai Gray.
Both reported links have been rejected according to the media.
The deal for Lewis Grabban was apparently set to be a loan move with a view to a permanent deal in the summer, whilst reports that the Cherries had lodged on offer of around £3.5million for Gray.
Howe told the Daily Echo…
“In terms of incomings, there is no news. We`re not closer to signing anybody. We are looking at one or two players but that`s as far as it`s gone.
“It`s a very difficult window to recruit in and transfer fees could potentially be inflated.
“We`ve been linked with a host of players. All I`d say to the Bournemouth fans is, don`t always believe what you read. We will do our business in private.
“If we don`t add to the squad, we won`t be losing any sleep over that. It`s a very competitive squad with almost two players for every position. We`re more than happy to go with what we`ve got.”
