AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has praised AFC Bournemouth Chairman Eddie Mitchell.

Mitchell became Chairman of the Cherries over the summer following the takeover of the club by the Murry Group.

Since that time AFC Bournemouth have begun to become a much more stable football club, the debts with HMRC have been paid, Winding Up Petitions have been dismissed and the Football League transfer embargo has been relaxed and Howe believes that stability has helped the players come within touching distance of promotion.

Howe told the Daily Echo

“The chairman has come in and he has been fantastic from day one, he`s got the club`s interests at heart and that`s all you want from the leader of the club. Hopefully, the club will see better times in the coming years…’

‘…The players are no longer thinking about things they shouldn`t – they are just concentrating on football…’
