AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is currently enjoying the benefits of the loan system.
The Cherries first team has been bolstered by the season long loan signings of Nathan Ake from Chelsea and Jack Wilshere from Arsenal.
Meanwhile several players have also left Dean Court on temporary moves.
Glenn Murray has joined Brighton & Hove Albion, with the strikers 10 goals in 17 Championship appearances pushing Brighton into the mix for promotion to the Premier League.
Baily Cargill and Joe Quigley have both joined Gillingham, whilst Harry Cornick has joined Leyton Orient.
Matt Butcher and Ben Whitfield have joined Yeovil with Whitfield making nine appearances for Yeovil Town in League Two, recently coming on as an 88th minute substitute against Stevenage to score a last minute equaliser.
Sam Surridge has scored eight goals since joining National League South team Poole Town.
Focussing on Whitfield and Surridge, Howe told the Daily Echo…
“We have various boys out on loan and you want to see them do well. The young lads, like Ben, who are trying to establish their careers, at whatever level, it`s really important they attack those loans and try to do as well as they can. He is a goalscorer, a goalscoring midfielder. So I`m delighted for him, and for Yeovil, that he scored that goal.”
“I`m really pleased to see Sam doing so well, I think he`s a player of real potential for us. It`s not easy, whatever level you go to, to score. He`s certainly doing that for Poole, so that`s good for them and good for us.”
