AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is looking forward to the Cherries five day training camp in Austria.
The Cherries squad, along with three new signings head off to Austria today (Monday) for the training camp in Bad Waltersdorf.
AFC Bournemouth have made three signings since the end of last season with Dan Gosling and Junior Stanislas signing on free transfers from Newcastle and Burnley respectively, whilst Callum Wilson joined the squad on Friday following a £2million+ deal from Coventry City.
The Cherries will train all week and then end the camp with the sides first pre-season friendly against FC Copenhagen on Friday.
Howe told the Daily Echo…
‘…It will be a real change of focus where we can hone in on the work – the tactical side, the technical side and the physical side.
“You get a chance to really get to know the players, you get the chance for the new players to mix with the old ones, and try and form a new team that is going to take you into the season.
“Of course you get a couple of opportunities to team-build and we`ve got a really good game out there as well, so it should be a really good week…’
