AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic believes that the recent success of the club is all down to manager Eddie Howe.
Begovic returned to the south coast last year in a £10million move from then Premier League champions Chelsea.
The Bosnian international has also enjoyed a long period of success at Stoke City, but the goalkeeper is particularly impressed with not just what Eddie Howe has achieved but also his desire to achieve more.
During two spells at Dean Court, Howe has saved the club from probable extinction after avoiding relegation to non-league despite a 17 point penalty.
He then oversaw promotions from the fourth tier in 2010, the third tier in 2013 and won the Championship in 2015.
The Cherries are now set for their fourth consecutive season in the top flight of English football.
Begovic told the Daily Star…
“Eddie Howe is definitely why this club has been on such a ride and shown such a huge improvement over the years.
“The manager is relentless in his pursuit of excellence and success.
“Through that, he inspires and pushes everyone else to do the same on a daily basis. We all feed off him.
“It spreads throughout the whole club. It’s why everyone here wants to get better.”

With comments about lack of signings, it is easy to forget the array of talent at our disposal this season. Watching the Video from Spain and seeing King, Wilson,Defoe,Mings, Cook, Cook, Begovic, Ake, Smith, Fraser, Mousset, Ibe, Brooks etc training just reminded me that keeping our best players has been the positive from this window so far. – Join the conversation, click here.
