AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe was happy with the spirit and character of his side, despite the 2-1 away defeat to Hereford.
With a mounting injury crisis hitting Howe’s squad, the Cherries were again only able to name three substitutes in the match day squad, with the only change from Saturday being Josh McQuoid replaced by Marvin Bartley who was wearing a cast on his broken hand.
Howe told the Daily Echo…
“The lads showed great character again.
“They never gave up, never let their heads drop and I thought we fought bravely.
“On another day, we could`ve come away with a draw. I thought our spirit and character was outstanding.”
