AFC Bournemouth’s 2021/22 campaign is over, whilst the likes of Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest continue to battle it out in the Championship play-offs, the Cherries players have been off on their holidays, soaking up the sun ahead of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

AFC Bournemouth supporters too are getting ready for the new campaign, with the season ticket renewal window already open and season ticket prices frozen, once again for a seventh consecutive season.

AFC Bournemouth head coach Scott Parker along with the Cherries hierarchy such as Neill Blake, Richard Hughes and Simon Francis will all be making plans for the squad for upcoming campaign. There are quite a few players who will be leaving Dean Court this summer, either because their short-term contracts or their loan deals are set to expire. This will mean that the Cherries will be active in the summer transfer window, which opens on 10th June.

The excitement around the Premier League season will begin to build on Thursday 16th June as the fixture lists for all 20 clubs will be announced. These are of course subject to later being completely butchered by Sky Sports, BT Sport and Amazon Prime when they make their television and streaming selections which in turn will change the dates and kick-off times of the majority of those games.

The season is set to kick-off on the weekend of Saturday 6th August, a little bit early in regards to the dates usually reserved for the top flight of English football, this is due to the World Cup taking place in Qatar later in the year.

The summer transfer window will close at 11pm on Thursday 1st September.

The international window has been brought forward from October to between Monday 19th and Tuesday 27th September, which means the Premier League season will then run right through until the weekend of 13th November, before the season takes a break for the World Cup.

The World Cup tournament itself will run from Monday 21st November until Sunday 18th December.

The Premier League then returns for its famous Boxing Day fixtures.

The winter transfer window then runs from 1st January until 11pm on 31st January 2023.

Another international window is squeezed in between Monday 20th March 2023 and Tuesday 27th March, but the Premier League then continues to run uninterrupted right through until the final weekend which will take place on Sunday 28th May 2023.
