AFC Bournemouth attacker Lewis Grabban is determined to remain in the Cherries starting line up.
Grabban joined the Cherries as a versatile attacker and this versatility has seen Grabban keep his place in the Cherries starting line up on a regular basis under former manager Paul Groves and new boss Eddie Howe.
In recent games Grabban has adopted a more free role, swapping between being in the hole behind main striker Lee Barnard and outwide, with Josh McQuoid switching roles with Grabban on a regular basis.
The duo have been in good form in front of goal with McQuoid scoring four goals and Grabban three and the former Rotherham striker is happy with his adopted role in a winning team.
Grabban told the Daily Echo…
“I`ve been happy playing a slightly different role, dropping in to the hole. I haven`t got as many goals as I would have liked to have done, but I feel I have contributed to the side in a different way.
“I`m playing in a position where it is not a major issue if I don`t score because we are winning games.”
“I will continue to work hard to make sure it continues. The manager is picking me in the starting eleven which is pleasing and hopefully I can contribute to the team and keep us rising up the table.”
