AFC Bournemouth midfielder Dan Gosling believes the Cherries can take their first away victory of the season away at Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Following their promotion from the Championship last season, Middlesbrough started the new campaign undefeated in all competitions from their first four games.

In the Premier League Middlesbrough drew with Stoke, then beat Sunderland before also drawing with West Brom.

But Middlesbrough have gone on to lost four of their next six games, with the victory over Sunderland still their only win this season.

Meanwhile AFC Bournemouth come into the game unbeaten in four league games, including victories over Hull and Everton.

Gosling told the Daily Echo

‘…We were in Middlesbrough’s position last season. Teams would come down here thinking they would roll us over – and, to be fair, a lot of teams did. Our home form wasn`t that good.

“But away from home, we were very good. Away from home this season, we haven`t done that badly.

‘But we`d like to have a few more points and we want to get our first win. We`re definitely looking at this game as one where we want to get three points.”
