AFC Bournemouth midfielder Dan Gosling believes the Cherries performance against Swansea City offered both entertainment and a result.

Gosling returned to the Cherries starting XI for both home games against West Ham United and Swansea City.

The first game saw Gosling come in for the suspended Andrew Surman, whilst for the second game Gosling kept his place in the side whilst Surman returned for the injured Harry Arter.

For both games Arsenal loanee Jack Wilshere (and the game immediately prior at Manchester United) had to settle for a place on the substitutes bench.

The Cherries went on to put together back to back victories for the first time this season with wins over West Ham and Swansea.

Gosling told the Daily Echo

‘…The fans want to see good, attacking football and we produced that against Swansea. At times we were very good.

‘We suffocated them and limited them to a couple of half-chances and we thoroughly deserved the win.

‘We pinpointed these two games as being huge for us. We wanted six points and we have managed to get them in the bag.’

Some tough choices when Arter’s fit again! Wilshere must be wondering how he gets back in the team, when Arter’s injured he still can’t!Join the conversation here.
