AFC Bournemouth midfielder Dan Gosling hopes the Cherries will now kick on into the final part of the Premier League season.

After seven games without a win, including four consecutive defeats, the Cherries took confidence from the 1-1 draw away to Manchester United last weekend, which included playing a man light for over 45 minutes of football.

Returning to Dean Court, the Cherries recorded their first victory of 2017 with a dramatic 3-2 victory over West Ham United which included a last minute winner.

After the game Gosling told afcb.co.uk

“That point last week (against Manchester United) with the other results as well was just massive, It kept us in that 14th place and the win today has helped us close that gap on others.

‘We want to be looking up instead of down and hopefully this win will kick us on and we`ll see where we go.’

Gosling or Surman?

Horses for courses. When you need energy and drive it’s Gozza, if you need composure and someone to control the game it’s Surman. Wilshere should have come on earlier today – a great player when you need a calm head. Gosling was excellent.
