Full Circle for Bond?

Kevin Bond may have gone full circle as AFC Bournemouth manager. He started his football league career at Millwall in October 2006 and with yet another defeat, some supporters hope he may have ended it at the same ground just over a year later.

Two goals either side of half time for Millwall was enough to take the three points, despite a last minute consolation from Lee Bradbury.

On-loan duo Jamie O’Hara and Will Hoskins will take the plaudits for the home side, while if it wasn’t for Neil Moss in the Cherries goal the scoreline would have been different.

Josh Gowling was obviously disappointed with the performance telling Radio Solent…

‘…we come here and put in a crap performance, it’s just not good enough…’

While Bond himself remained defiant…

‘…I don’t profess to be a miracle worker or any greater than anybody else doing this type of job. Under the circumstances, I think anybody would find it extremely difficult…’

But with mounting pressure on the manager perhaps the Cherries fans will see sooner rather than later whether or not someone else will find managing the side as difficult.
