AFC Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser believes the Cherries squad need to believe in themselves and stick together following back to back defeats.

The Cherries lost consecutive games to Middlesbrough and Sunderland ahead of the international break.

With the disappointing results the Cherries have dropped from 9th in the Premier League and looking enthusiastically forward for the rest of the campaign, to dropping down the table just two points above the relegation places.

Fraser is keen to make his mark on the side in order to help the team and earn a possible call up to the full Scotland squad.

Fraser told afcb.co.uk

‘…My focus is on getting in the team at Bournemouth and the opportunities (with Scotland) may come my way.’

‘I`m doing all I can to get in the team. I think I need to score or get an assist, something like that to get me going.

‘I will keep doing my best and aim to take my opportunities when they arise. The team are doing OK, we`re better off than last season and we need to believe in ourselves, stick by each other, and aim to go as high as we can.’
