AFC Bournemouth defender Simon Francis believes that Saturday’s game against Swindon Town could be the biggest game of the season to-date.

The Cherries go into the game on the back of a seventeen game unbeaten run in all competitions, in League One, the Cherries have climbed up the table from the relegation zone to the promotion chasing pack and haven’t conceded a goal in their last four league games.

Swindon Town also go into the game on top form, they are currently fifth in League One, three points ahead of the Cherries.

They have won their last four games, scoring an impressive sixteen goals without reply.

Francis told afcb.co.uk

“It’s great reading for them – clean sheets and scoring lots of goals – you can’t really ask for much more than that as a manager.

“I know their manager has got them playing with a lot of confidence at the moment, but I’m confident that we can stop them scoring the goals they have in recent weeks, against us.”

“It’s going to be another important game – if not one of the most important games, of the season. Every game seems to be labelled as that at the moment but for us every single week we are trying to climb the table. We made it hard for ourselves with the start we had and we are playing catch up.
