Fletch: Fans in my heart forever

AFC Bournemouth legend Steve Fletcher joined the Cherries faithful in the stands at Elland Road on Saturday.

Fletch entered the ground to a round of applause and various chants as the Cherries record appearance maker took his seat at the back of the stand.

Fletch told the Daily Echo?

‘It was nice, I knew the tickets were in the Bournemouth end. I got there just before kick-off and got a great reception from the fans.

‘It was lovely. My mate who came to the game couldn’t believe it, he didn’t realise I was held in high regard.

‘It’s always nice to have your name sang and I’ll always have that rapport with the supporters. That will be in my heart forever.’
