After our home 2-2 draw against Stoke City last Saturday which guaranteed a third season in the Premier League (PL), the Cherries are home again this time to Burnley (the Clarets). This will be their first visit to Dean Court in the top league. AFC Bournemouth (AFCB) go into this game with no pressure, Burnley still need 1 point to be mathematically safe for another season in the PL.

Sean Dyche the Burnley manager strengthened his side in the January transfer window by the signings of Robert Brady from Norwich City for a club record £13 million, the Irish Republic International is one of the three midfield signings to come in. The others are Ashley Westwood from Aston Villa for a fee reported to be around £5 million and Joey Barton who was released by Rangers after 5 Premiership games for the Glasgow club.

Burnley in their first season back in the Premier League this year away from home have won 1, drawn 3 and lost 6. Their last away game was at Crystal Palace which they won 2-0. Their last game which was at home against West Brom ended in a 2-2 draw. This year away from home hasn`t been good for Burnley, they have won 1, drawn 4 and lost 13. Their strength has been in their home results where they have won 10, drawn 3 and lost 5. Burnley are in 14th place in the league on 40 points, 2 points less than the Cherries in 11th place.

AFC Bournemouth Team News:

Dan Gosling could be available for the Burnley game and after limping off in the last game against Stoke City with cramp, Junior Stanislas should be available.

Player to watch: Joshua King

Josh King who continues to score important goals for us and is so confident in front of goal.

Burnley Team News:

In central defence Ben Mee is reported to be unlikely to be fit, but Michael Keane could be available for the game.
