Our latest poll asked if you would renew Kevin Bond’s contract at the end of the season. The slight majority would, but only if we stay up.
It seems that Kevin Bond is still not the right man for the job in many fans’ eyes. Almost 50 percent of voters said that under no circumstances would they renew Kevin Bond’s contract.
But with recent results moving the Cherries 3 points from the drop zone, the ‘yes’ and ‘only if we stay up!’ have overtaken the ‘no’ votes. In effect backing the current manager with a condition – that we stay up come the end of the season.
Interestingly, the new AFC Bournemouth board have publically backed Kevin and have decided to start contract talks early. Bond set to discuss future
I’m sure that once the talks are over and the uncertainty is cleared, we all get behind Kevin and the team.
