Following the announcement this morning the Dean Court faithful have been reacting to the news that AFC Bournemouth have revealed a new club crest.

The new design replaces the 1970’s version with the two white strips changed to black and the ‘AFC Bournemouth’ ribbon under the crest completely removed. The new design now has AFC Bournemouth appearing in gold across the top of the newly designed crest, which also includes a gold outline.

With the launch of three new kits over the summer the new crest will not appear on the teams shirts until the 2014/15 season, however the crest will be used with immediate affect around the club including on AFCB Vital.

With special thanks to AFC Bournemouth for permission for full use of the new club crest and to Steve Brown for doing the images, AFCB Vital has seen a full update throughout the website and forum to fully incorporate and embrace the new club crest.

Reaction by supporters on the AFCB Vital forum to the ‘evolved’ club crest appear to be mainly positive, to add your view click the link to join the debate or vote on our poll to the right of this article.
