AFC Bournemouth captain Tommy Elphick does not believe the Cherries recent run of results has knocked the sides confidence.

AFC Bournemouth go into this (Friday) evenings match at Dean Court against Watford live on Sky Sports top of the Championship table.

But the home side have lost three of their last four outings, suffering defeats to Norwich City and Leeds United in the league and getting knocked out of the FA Cup to Aston Villa.

The visitors arrive on the back of two consecutive victories, putting seven goals past Blackpool and five past Charlton.

Elphick told the Daily Echo

“We might have lost three of the past four games but when you sum it up it was only the Norwich game that disappointed us.

“We bounced back with a good win at Rotherham and did everything but win the next game at Leeds.

“There is not too much concern and it is not playing on our minds. The mood is good round the training ground and for us it is just about getting the results now. We know the performances have been there.”
