Eddie Mitchell set to bid

Eddie Mitchell is leading a five man consortium set to bid for the club according to the Daily Echo.

The Dorchester Town owner made his money from his Poole based property company and was recently featured on ITV’s Sandbanks programme.

Although the paper also reports that Mitchell as yet, has not contacted the club over a possible proposal.

Which leaves two of the reported interested groups still unknown, while Jeff Mostyn has also announced that he will be hoping to take the club on after administration.

Krasner who is currently in charge at Dean Court told the Echo…

‘Jeff has expressed an interest in buying the club back like anybody else and is putting a package together at the moment.

‘I’ve got to consider the offers because they will all be made in different ways. If Jeff is not buying it then somebody has got to take account of all the money he has got in there and what return he is getting. If Jeff is buying it then obviously he doesn’t need a return on his own money.

‘We have to weigh up everything and look at what’s actually being offered, by whom and for what.’
