AFC Bournemouth left back Charlie Daniels believes the Cherries first three months of the season have gone well.

The Premier League takes a small break for yet another international break this weekend.

AFC Bournemouth currently sit 13th in the top division of English football, just three points behind 8th place and in contention for European qualification and just two points ahead of 18th place and relegation to the Championship.

Unfortunately however, with disappointing defeats to both Middlesbrough and Sunderland, the Cherries feel they have dropped important points ahead of a run of games which include Premier League title contenders Arsenal and Liverpool.

Daniels told the Daily Echo

“The season`s gone well. We could do better, but we could have done worse.

“If we`d won the last two games it would have taken us to new heights. But we always stay grounded, we work hard every single day. We`re always looking to better ourselves, and hopefully come the end of the season we`ll finish in a better position than we did last year.”
