AFC Bournemouth left back Charlie Daniels was philosophical following the 3-3 draw with Arsenal.
The Cherries had looked in a great position to take a surprise three points when goals from Charlie Daniels, Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser had put AFC Bournemouth 3-0 up.
But two goals through Alexis Sanchez and Lucas Perez were compounded when referee Michael Oliver harshly sent off Simon Francis with ten minutes remaining.
Arsenal pushed forward for an equaliser and with six minutes of stoppage time Olivier Giroud scored Arsenal’s third to share the points.
After the game Daniels told afcb.co.uk…
‘I’m disappointed, Being 3-0 up against Arsenal you really should be seeing it out. It’s a funny thing, we’ve done that to other teams but today it was against us.
‘It’s very quiet in the dressing room, so many disappointed people in there. We worked so hard but it just wasn’t to be today and with the sending off it was tough in the last ten or 15 minutes down to ten men…’
‘…We felt we controlled the game for the first 60 minutes and we were in a good place, their first goal perhaps took a little bit of the wind out of us and it was tough from there on in.
‘It was little things that cost us, but at the end of the day it’s a point against a club like Arsenal so we can’t take too much disappointment away.’

I feel sick…
Yes I would have willingly taken a point before kick.
But that was a real kick in the guts.
At 3 – 2, I couldn’t sit down and just knew what was coming..
Some defeats you just chalk off, but this feels worse than losing at the moment, even though we got a point.
I need to do something else now and stop writing this and looking at this site and the bbc website, or I am going to go mad…..
