AFC Bournemouth left back Charlie Daniels believes he is ready for selection against Burnley after missing games against Arsenal and Liverpool.
The Cherries performed well in both games in Daniels’ absence, narrowly losing away at Arsenal but beating Premier League title contenders Liverpool.
Daniels has competition for his left back spot with Brad Smith, Adam Smith and Nathan Ake all featuring as left full back whilst Daniels was unavailable.
Daniels believes that AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe will have a ‘real selection dilemma’ ahead of the trip to Burnley over who will make up his defence.
Daniels told afcb.co.uk…
“I feel I`m ready to go. I`ve been training the last couple of days, but Sunday was a bit soon for me and I needed to feel right.
“Nathan`s done unbelievably well since he`s been playing and the gaffer is going to have a real selection dilemma, not only in my position but in other positions too.
“It`s up to whoever plays to keep hold of the jersey and people that aren`t playing to work really hard to try and get it back again.”
Howe has certainly mixed it up recently. So who will Howe choose against Burnley? – Join the conversation here.
