Warren Cummings should be beginning training on Tuesday, joining the rest of the team for some non-contact work for the first time since breaking his leg in our 3-0 win at Swindon last March.

We?ve already seen Warren out on the pitch warming up in our last home league fixture against Port Vale and now the Aberdeen-born defender has given himself a target of eight weeks to get back to playing.

Warren had two setbacks in his recovery from a double break in his tibia and fibula. The bones failed to heal properly after being in plaster for three months and then Warren caught an infection in the leg. Cummings reckons that this has delayed his return by four months but he is now aiming to be back on the pitch before the end of this year.
