Young defender Shaun Cooper has rejected the chance to join Championship side Queens Park Rangers and will sign a contract with Bournemouth.
Speaking to the Daily Echo Cooper said…
‘In a way I was tempted, but deep down, staying here is the right decision and I was always going to sign if I got offered something.
‘I want to stay because I’m learning a lot under Richard [O’Kelly] and Sean [O’Driscoll] and I’m enjoying playing here.
‘They gave me a chance to get back into football. I didn’t have anywhere to play and I feel like I owe them, so staying here was always the right decision.’
