AFC Bournemouth defender Steve Cook expects to find Rotherham in determined mood when the Cherries return to the New York Stadium.

The Cherries visited Rotherham in the third round of the FA Cup just two weeks ago.

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe made ten changes to the side for the fixture, with the Cherries running out 5-1 victors.

Steve Cook was the only Championship regular in the starting line up on that day and he is expecting to come up against a determined Rotherham in the league tie.

Cook told the Daily Echo

“You go somewhere and win 5-1 and the next time you go there people expect you to do the same. That`s football.

“But it`s not that easy. How many times have we seen clubs bounce back from big defeats? That`s what we`re wary of.

“We know what sort of style a Steve Evans side has and we know they will battle and will want to put things right. The defeat will be fresh in their minds. It will be a lot different to the FA Cup game.”
