AFC Bournemouth defender Steve Cook hopes that the Cherries squad will regroup during the international break.
The Cherries head into the international break on the back of two disappointing defeats.
Having failed to win during the opening three games of the season, AFC Bournemouth began September with just one defeat in six and that was to Premier League title contenders Manchester City.
During that period, the Cherries won three and drew twice, climbing the table to 9th place.
But defeats away to Middlesbrough, who at the time hadn’t won at home and to Sunderland, who at the time hadn’t won a game all season have dropped AFC Bournemouth to 13th, just two points above the relegation places.
Cook told the Daily Mail…
‘…We have to re-evaluate things now. Maybe we thought we were better than we are. It`s hard to find any positive points.
‘We have a long two weeks now then we have three very tough games coming up. So we will have to regroup and try and go again and try and turn these two defeats around.
‘We have got to regroup. We can sulk and not improve or we can graft for these next two weeks and see where we have gone wrong.`
Next 3 games…….
Looked at the fixtures and thought where are the points coming from in the next 3 games ?………reminded of thinking the same thing about this time last season….Everton Chelsea and Man u….just the 7 points there….so just a heads up, keep the faith !! – Join the conversation here.
