AFC Bournemouth defender Steve Cook believes the entire squad will benefit from the sides trip to the United Arab Emirates.

With the Premier League now taking a short break due to International matches, the Cherries squad have flown to Dubai for a training camp.

Whilst the players social media pages have been full of go-karting and other activities, it’s the training at the NAS Sports Complex which is the obvious focus.

Cook told afcb.co.uk

‘It’s a great place to come for a bit of team bonding but the training here’s also really tough, We were up very early this morning which makes everything that much harder.

‘The facilities that we’re at are top drawer so it’s proving to be a great trip and hopefully it will bring us together and help us to a few more results when we get back.’

‘It’s harder here because you’ve got the heat and the early mornings. The pitches might be a bit better here than ours as well so the quality and standard can be as high as possible – as it always is.

‘Being out here and working hard is really enjoyable and with a bit of sun on the back of your neck is always nice to have,’
