AFC Bournemouth will host a pre-season friendly with Spanish side Valencia at Dean Court in August.
It will be the second time the Cherries have faced Spanish opposition in three years, after previously hosting Real Madrid on the south coast.
Valencia are one of the most successful sides in Spain outside of Madrid and Barcelona.
Last season they finished 12th in La Liga, but as recently as 2004 they were the champions of Spain, a title they have won 6 times.
They have also won the Spanish Cup 7 times, most recently in 2008 and they have also had success in Europe.
Valencia won the old UEFA Fairs Cup in 1962 and 1963, the UEFA Cup Winners Cup in 1980, the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1998 and the UEFA Cup in 2004.
The match will be played on Wednesday 3rd August with a 7.45pm kick-off, with attackers Álvaro Negredo and Rodrigo expected to be involved.
The duo cost Valencia a combined total of ?58million.
Ticket prices will be released by afcb.co.uk ‘in due course’.

The club have finally just confirmed the friendly.
Their silence seemed very odd when you consider this is a pretty high profile friendly. You would have thought they would have wanted to make a splashy announcement of it ? Maybe the leak a few weeks back caught them off guard. – Join the conversation here.
