AFC Bournemouth have reportedly placed a price tag of £20million on the head of attacker Arnaut Danjuma.

Domestically there is plenty of interest in the 24-year-old, who was signed in August 2019 by former AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe for a fee reported to be in the region of £14million from Club Brugge.

Football League World have reported that AFC Bournemouth are fielding intensifying interest adding that Wolverhampton Wanderers, Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion are interested in Danjuma, meanwhile south coast neighbours Southampton and West Ham United have also been linked by tabloid newspaper The Sun.

But Danjuma’s options might not be limited to just England with teamTALK linking him with a move that would offer Danjuma UEFA Champions League football with French Ligue 1 champions Lille.

After overcoming injuries throughout his first season with the Cherries, suffering stress fractures in both feet. Danjuma would go on to make just 14 Premier League appearances, including 6 starts and failed to register a single goal or an assist during the coronavirus pandemic hit season, however, Danjuma enjoyed a great individual season to remember the year after in the second tier of English football with 17 goals and 7 assists from 35 appearances.

Where will Danjuma be playing in 2021/22?

£20million seems low, but given the impact of Covid on the transfer market and the fact he’s not proven at Premier League level, maybe I’m being over-optimistic.

Reckon we can hold out for £25million if there are multiple bidders. – Join the conversation, click here.
