AFC Bournemouth have completed the signing of AFC Wimbledon midfielder Steven Gregory.

After a week of negotiations the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee, reportedly in the region of £50,000 on Wednesday.

The 24 year old, who made 48 appearances for AFC Wimbledon last season, came to Dean Court today (Thursday) and has signed a two year deal.

Gregory becomes Lee Bradbury’s second signing of the summer after completing the free transfer of Darryl Flahavan on Tuesday.

AFC Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell told afcb.co.uk

‘Negotiations took place over the last few days and we finally reached a fee both parties were happy with on Wednesday afternoon.

‘Talks were very civilised, but when it became clear that the player wanted to join us, it was only a matter of time before a fee was agreed.

‘Steven Gregory is a very talented player, and we are delighted that he has joined the squad.’
