AFC Bournemouth could be set to make an offer to Chelsea to sign Nathan Ake on a permanent deal in January.
The Netherlands Under 21 international has recently impressed following a run of six starts in the Premier League where he has scored three goals.
Ake initially had to bide his time to break into the AFC Bournemouth XI, but when his chance came he has held on to the shirt ever since.
AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has confirmed that there is a recall option in the season long loan deal that was struck during pre-season, however The Sun have reported that a permanent deal could be agreed to prevent Ake leaving Dean Court.
The Sun have stated: ‘(Howe) is looking to negotiate a £10milllion [sic] transfer fee which will allow him to keep 21-year-old Ake for the long-term.
Think Chelsea would be mad to sell him now. They don’t need the money so why risk losing a talented player now before they assess how good he will be. He is talented but needs coaching re defensive positioning and Eddie will do a good job in that respect. – Join the conversation here.
