AFC Bournemouth are reportedly close to agreeing a £7.7million deal for Le Havre youngster Lys Mousset.

squawka.com reported prior to the weekend that…

‘The France under-20 international underwent a medical on Wednesday and is expected to complete the transfer in the next 48 hours.’

No official confirmation of the deal has yet been made.

Lys Mousset is 20 years old and made his debut for French Ligue 2 side Le Havre when he was 18.

Last season he scored 14 goals in 29 appearances as Le Havre almost won promotion to the top flight of French football.

Lys Mousset is versatile as he can play either as a central striker or out wide.

Mousset recently impressed for France at under-20’s level in the Toulon Tournament and was previously linked with a potential move to Championship side Bristol City.

It would be another young forward to join the young attacking midfielder we’ve already signed. Hope we have some defensive players up Eddie’s sleeve! Anyway let’s see if it happens.Join the conversation here.
