AFC Bournemouth have again been linked with Southend goalkeeper Daniel Bentley.
The Cherries were first linked with interest in Bentley in May 2015, shortly after he had become a Wembley hero in the League Two play-off final saving a penalty to clinch promotion to the third tier.
In April 2016, AFC Bournemouth, Norwich, Watford and West Brom were all reportedly monitoring Bentley according to The Sun newspaper.
Bentley continued to impress for Southend this season and has played over 150 times for the League One side despite being just 22 years old.
He is out of contract this summer, but as he is under the age of 24 a fee could be set by Football Association tribunal.
The latest report linking the Cherries with Bentley comes via clubcall.com.
‘Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is said to be in a fight with a trio of clubs (Burnley, Brentford and Rangers) for the services of Southend goalkeeper Daniel Bentley.
