The Cherries may have stolen the headlines on transfer deadline day with their 3-0 thrashing of Premier League champions Chelsea, but they failed to make any headlines during the transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, AFC Bournemouth had a bid rejected for Brentford defender Chris Mepham on transfer deadline day.
This appears to have been the only reported movement the Cherries attempted to make prior to the transfer window closing until the summer.

The bid included a number of potential add-ons but the Bees have told the Cherries Mepham is not for sale in this window.
Meanwhile, AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Ryan Allsop has joined Lincoln City on loan until the end of the season.
