AFC Bournemouth are reportedly interested in Norwich City’s Robbie Brady.

The Republic of Ireland international who impressed at Euro 2016, has scored three goals in 22 Championship games thus far this season.

The 25 year old is of interest to Burnley, Leicester City, Newcastle United and Aston Villa and according to ESPN

‘Burnley were leading the race to sign him but sources have told ESPN FC that Bournemouth have now entered the chase for a player who can operate at left midfield or left-back.’

The report adds that Norwich City are ‘holding out for a fee in the region of £12 million’, with Norwich City manager Alex Neil saying…

‘There’s obviously been teams interested in Robbie but we’re not anywhere near a deal with anybody,’

‘There have been negotiations that are ongoing and contact from other clubs. I wouldn’t expect anything to happen soon because it is not at those levels. It will be our timescale and on our terms.’

I hope that’s not Eddie’s idea of signing a defender. Daniels is the least of our problems at the back, although granted even he hasn’t had the best of seasons.

Though it would mean Brad Smith is rendered redundant.
