AFC Bournemouth are reportedly interested in Manchester City defensive midfielder Fernando.
The 29 year old Brazilian, who has never been capped by his country, has previously won the Portuguese Primeira Liga four times and the UEFA Europa League with Porto.
He moved to Manchester City in 2014 for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of £12 million. He won the Football League Cup (now EFL Cup in 2015/16).
He has played over 100 games for Manchester City, with 64 Premier League appearances since the move to England.
Last season he made 27 appearances across the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and UEFA Champions League but according to The Sun he ‘has been frozen out at the Etihad by Pep Guardiola’.
They claim that newly promoted Newcastle United are the favourites to sign him but ‘Southampton and Bournemouth are also in the running.
Manchester City reportedly want £8million to sell this summer.
