AFC Bournemouth are reportedly interested in Chelsea and England Under 21’s international Lewis Baker.

The report comes via Daily Star, who have suggested that due to AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe’s ‘good relationship with Chelsea’, the Cherries are ‘at the front of the queue’, along with Swansea City for a potential transfer this summer.

Probably on loan.

The 22 year old midfielder has made just one FA Cup appearance for the Premier League champions and instead has been out on loan to three different clubs, with Sheffield Wednesday, MK Dons and Dutch side Vitesse.

With Vitesse he has made 66 appearances over two seasons, scoring 15 goals.

With England he has an equally impressive record, scoring for the Under 17’s, 19’s, 20’s and 21’s.

Overall at England youth levels he has made 41 appearances scoring 18 times.
