AFC Bournemouth defender Baily Cargill has joined League One side Gillingham on loan.

The 21 year old former England Under 20’s international joins Gillingham on loan initially until January 2017.

Cargill, who is yet to play a league game for the Cherries has previously gained Football League experience with Torquay United and Coventry City and has also played non league football with Welling United.

Gillingham manager Justin Edinburgh told gillinghamfootballclub.com

‘We always said we wanted to add quality to the squad when bringing in players, and Baily ticks that box, He will prove to be an extremely important signing for Gillingham Football Club, and I’m delighted to secure his loan signing.
