The first visit of Norwich City to Dean Court in the league since February 1960 which ended 0-0.

AFC Bournemouth visited Carrow Road in August of this season and came away with a point.

John Bond was the Cherries manager when back in the early 1970’s the club changed its traditional colours of red and white to red and black stripes and name to AFC Bournemouth.

His style of football and the players he signed brought the crowds flowing back to Dean Court in their thousands and the older fans amongst us still talk about that side and the players

Unfortunately we never got into the equivalent of what is the Championship now and another thing the fans will never forget was when John Bond left to manage Norwich City and took a number of our best players with him.

Back to the present and Norwich have just lost Neil Adams as their manager after he resigned. Norwich lost their last 2 away games, the last being knocked out of the FA Cup at Preston.

In December, Norwich had some good results at home in the league scoring 6 against Millwall and 5 against Huddersfield, they drew at Derby and won at Wigan, their last league game at Reading ended in defeat.

AFC Bournemouth Team News:

Expect Eddie Howe to go back to the team that started against Millwall with maybe Marc Pugh back for Adam Smith at left wing.

Player to watch: Matt Ritchie

Still has to be Matt Ritchie who is probably playing at his best since moving from Swindon. Also will be interesting to see if Harry Arter can add to his tally of recent goals.

Norwich City Team News:

Looks like Alex Neil is to be the new Norwich manager and could be installed in time for their trip to Dean Court, this might make the players raise their game to impress him.

Player to watch: Cameron Jerome

Cameron Jerome their leading scorer and keeping our old player Lewis Grabban out of the side.
