Marcus Browning insists the fight isn’t over just yet as the Cherries are not mathmatically safe from the threat of relegation.

With the victory over Walsall the Cherries moved up to 17th place and 6 points ahead of Hartlepool who occupy the last relegation spot.

There is another 2 points back to Swindon and Walsall with the Franchise rooted to the bottom of the table.

Speaking to afcb.co.uk Browning was confident for the remainder of the season…

The win on Tuesday has taken some weight off our shoulders, but we know we’re still not out the woods just yet and need a few more points.’

Looking ahead to Saturday’s home game against Huddersfield which is set to see a crowd of over 7,000 he added…

“The crowd can make a massive difference. It should be a decent attendance and the lads always thrive on that and the support they generate. We’re in the middle of a tough period of games, but that’s what having a squad is all about. Everyone is focused on the job so if we do need to make any changes it can be done seamlessly.’
